The building faces west and is a four story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on landscaped grounds in the center of Claremore. The west front has a projecting central section with glass and column façade rising to a peak with clock.

Rogers County was created in 1907 and named for Clem V Rogers, who was a member of the Oklahoma Constitutional Convention and father of Will Rogers. Designed by BKL Incorporated, the 104,000 square foot building houses six courtrooms and serves as a central location for all of the county’s offices. The fourth and present courthouse was constructed in 2010 to 2012 at a cost of $18,000,000.

The building houses the County District Court of the 12th Judicial District. The design incorporated security features including private access to courtrooms for county officials and judicial staff, as well as secure access to the existing county jail.

Parking

There is a free parking lot to the west of the building but it is not big enough for busy days. If its full there is an overflow parking lot about half a block to the south of the courthouse on Missouri Ave.

Typically I end up a J. Farleys. Another good choice if Main Street Tavern. That assumes Im able to skip on the Chic-fil-A which is my favorite fast food spot.
